Well I have 99.5 audi A4 2.8 FWD, I have a seroius problem with my gauge cluster, somtimes am driving & the RPM needle just drops to zero, the ABS Light comes ON, & the Brake & Oil pressure Light comes on blinking! The car runs perfectly fine when this happens, Help!!!!

Also somtimes instead the ABS Light stays ON & the brake Light Blinks!

Dont know whats wrong with my car, Dont know if its a eletrical problem, or a audi recall?

It started happening after i put my HIDs ON

Check for fault codes before blaming just the cluster. Could be a mixture of problems including a bad ABS control module and messed up cluster itself.

If it started after the HID install maybe a bad ground somewhere?

Maybe check for fault codes first?

+1 to fault codes.

did you ever find a cause to this. I have the exact same symptoms in my 98, but it seems permanent, in that the condition is always present, yet the car runs great.
