Ok well then whomever wrote whatever you read was wrong. Its possible that in their particular case the owner had written the code on the radio for his or her own reference, but it most certainly does not come from the factory that way.

I found a card inside owners Manuel soon as i opened it. It said use numbers "1...4" for code but mIne started with a0 and had a 9 in it but only presets only go 1-6? So I had code from secondary air pump cuz hose cracked. I fixed it n CEL never went away. So I went to autozone again m came up link error. Guy said prob just a fuse somewhere. I didn't find any.

You click the preset buttons the number changes each time you hit it. So for the first number you'd hit "1" until the number you wanted showed up in the first block.

Thats it!

The numbers in the code refer to the number of times you have to press the 1-4 preset buttons, if that makes sense. So if your code is 0129, for example, you'd press the first preset button until the first number displayed was a zero. Then you'd push the #2 preset until the second digit displayed was a 1, and so-on. Make sense?
