My Instruments Cluster is shot and I am looking for one. Any Help in here.
I have a 2001 A4 B5 RHD. The Cluster is the one with the Immobiliser . Can anyone help .

I have seen some on eBay, but i am not sure they will work. Will the numbers tell if they will work.

I believe (and hopefully someone else can chime in who has more experience) you can't just replace the cluster as the mileage will be wrong (and you can't just manually change the mileage to what the old cluster said). You can however send the whole cluster in to be repaired for $100-$200.

Jakie, what is not working on the cluster? Did the entire thing somehow die or are you just referring to the center LCD screen? If it was just the center screen there are shops that will replace the screen for ~$150.

Elduderino, you can replace the cluster, but the EEPROM must be reset so the mileage can be reprogrammed. So long as the mileage is less than 60 or 100 miles (can't remember) the mileage can be programmed with a registered or authentic VCDS cable. This service is available for $50 from the same shop that will replace the screen.

Jakie, if you do need to replace the entire cluster, you must get one with an immobilizer (in other words, NOT a cluster from north america.)
