Hello guys, my first post here with few questions!

If you have a laptop computer, go to www.Ross-tech.com and download VagCom for free. Buy the OBD2 diagnostic cable on eBay for $20 and you'll be able to run your own diagnostics anytime you want. AutoZone can scan your codes for free but I'm not sure if they can scan anything other than engine codes. The airbag light is usually caused by a momentary opening of the underseat connector from flopping down into the seat or moving it too far back. This strains the connector and opens it momentarily which will trip the light. Chances are it's the one under the driver seat. Use zipties and zip the connector tightly closed (it's the yellow one btw - by law all airbag connectors are yellow for uniformity). Be careful of the wires as they're small and you don't want to pinch them. Once that's done you'll have to turn off the light with VagCom - there's no other way to do it.

Thanks Guys!!!!
Yes indeed, this is great site. I thank all of you for all the replies. I will do as you guys suggested as well. Looks like the brake pads the previous owner used didn't come with the sensors.I do have an OBII scanner so I guess I will start with that.
I do have few more questions, Does all of you guys run Premium gas or just 87? how much boost these cars run stock and where can I get a pillar pod for a gauge? I am very familiar with forced induction, most of my toys are turbo or SC and in this car, I just can't seem to feel the boost coming on. Not that I am looking to light the world on fire or anything. I bought the car for the AWD and fuel economy which is great also it had to have a turbo on it. Now removing the cat, does that help with performance/fuel economy? I just averaged around 30mpg hwy/some city driving. This car is awesome!!!
Thanks again guys
