Headunit is draining my battery

the amp (blue/white wire) seemed to be the problem. The connection was between the two harnesses and was getting a constant 12v source and sending a constant 5v the speakers. Moved the connection to a 12v ignition source and now there is no more 12v in the off position or 5v to the speakers. Going to check the voltage on the battery later tonight to confirm.

That would be a problem. Blue/white wire is the remote usually and should definitely not be constant. Should fix your problem
