97 A4.. On driver side, the headlight washer mechanism cover seems to be attached to the washer mechanism, not the bumper. On the passenger side though, the cover is missing, but looks like it was attached (hinged?) to the bumper, and has broken off. Not sure if this bumper cover is original. How did this look originally? Is that washer cover supposed to be attached to the washer mechanism or the bumper? Not sure why the 2 sides appear to be different.. Also, can you get a new cover, assuming it attaches to the washer mechanism somehow?

 

If it is the pop up type they are attached to the inside of the bumper on the nozzles. Some just attach to the outside of the bumper.
