Default Headlight Sprayer Cover

When I bought my A4 it did not have a headlight sprayer cover for the driver's side. I am not sure if that is the proper term for it but I hope you guys know what I am talking about. I was just wondering if anyone knows of some place where I can pick one of these up. It bugs me not having one on there. I called the local dealership and I can get one for about $18 but it would not be painted. So if I have to resort to that does anyone know how much it would cost to paint that little piece of plastic? Thanks.

For such a little piece of the body, I think you can get away with painting it your self with just spray paint and clear coat it.

What color is your car by the way?

It is the dark bluish color. I believe the correct name for it is santorin blue mica. I guess painting it myself is a good option. I think I will order one tomorrow and see how I feel about it when it comes in.

^ I think I know the color you're talking about. The dealer should probably have that color for the spray paint. If not try Duplicolor. Not sure if they have that color but check out the chart/list of colors they have. It should have most of the colors for our cars.

Even if it's not a perfect match, I don't think it will be that noticeable since it's such a small piece.

Keep us updated with this!

I am pretty sure they are there to give the car a clean look when the sprayers are not in use. This is a picture of what mine looks like now and it looks very unclean so I would like to get one on there ASAP.

When I bought my car the dealer showed me that and I was in awe. Hahahaha, I love that little feature. It's classy.

Haha the feature is so unnecessary but it is cool nonetheless. Mine don't even work but it isn't too big of a deal as long as I get that blemish covered.
