Post Headlight ideas

I have and Audi a4 99 with a weird but different teal blue and the headlights i have suck at night, they are the new silver star ultra bulbs, but they aren't that bright. So i was looking into getting some projector headlights with HIDs but i don't know what headlight style would look best. I would Either get the Audi s4 style or some halo lights to go with the L.E.D. stripes i have at the bottom of my Grill and what would better match my car wither chrome or black lights (I have pics on here in my car garage). Also i want HIDs blueness to match the White/Blue looking Stripes. (I also have to whit strobes in each turn signal there hide away)
Give me ideas! thanks

Be carefull with some of the "halo" type head lights. My wife's old A4 came with a set on them and the optics were terrible. I was able to compare them side-by-side with my A4 before I upgraded and those halo projectors were very poor and had bad optics.

I ended up getting a set of depo projectors that look like this: http://cgi.ebay.ca/2000-2002-AUDI-S4...item5889ddac8f

I put in HIDs and they are definitely superior to stock.

There's also this style, but I haven't used them, but people here seem to like them: http://cgi.ebay.ca/1995-1998-AUDI-A4...item5d2b71f3de

get this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUDI-...Q5fAccessories
btw. looks like you are pre facelift so you will need to modify your fender a little for the one price headlights to fit. you will also need this: http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-..._Harness/ES86/

hehe nice led strips i have the same thing but doubled strips on each side
i need to get new lights too! they really do suck at night

thanks for the input! and i like the idea with the chrome headlights without halos. what type of special fitting would be need to mount the one piece? and nice leds too.

i also just put in new led reverse lights that are actually just as bright as the stock ones but more of a stand out white color which look really sharp and one of them burned out right away and i sent the one back and guy sent me two new ones for free! here's where i got them 1156 LED White (its a hyperlink to ebay)

you need to trim a piece of the fender right where the corner light is. there is a DIY somewhere around here ;P

Just be aware that the more "blue" you get your HID's, the less you will be able to see. A 6000k is a million times better temp than stock, but I wouldn't go over 8000k temo bulbs.

I'd personally stay away from the halos and go for either OEM E-Codes or the ones made by Helix/Depo.

I think stock look is a lot cleaner.

do you think these would work the best? its a two piece instead of one, so i shouldn't have to modify the frame then or at least it looks like i shouldn't. Almost direct replacement. (Link Below) and im also going to get the 55w 6000K DDM HID kit

Yeah, Halos are kinda lame. as for the question of chrome or black, go black. its much easier to hide things like led strips when your base is black. I do think that the strips should go inside the headlight tho. otherwise i think it tends to look like you did it yourself.
