head rebuilt question .... 2.8

yea i had replaced all the plugs before taking it to the shop. cylinder 4 plugs was totally shot compared to the others. the others looked normal. at the shop, he had check the plugs and only cylinder 4 had oil on it. ill check what 'onepoint8tee' recommended and see.

you can take out cylinder 4's spark plug and stick a long screw driver down into the hole to see if there's oil in the cylinder. there shouldn't be anything in the cylinder when the engine isn't running. does drying the plugs get rid of the misfire?

drying the plugs results in the same thing.


heres what im told by the tech .. cynlinder 4 has no compression at all because the exhaust valve is sticking. does that help any?
