start buy sellling your car and get a 1.8T.

I'm just kidding...no seriously.

If you're just going for aesthetics then a set of coilovers or shock/spring combo to lower the ride height. A nice set of 18" wheels; and the rest of the cash can go to painting the lower moldings and or tints. The reason for my earlier comment is the fact that you're about $2000 short of the only meaningful performance mod for the 2.8, a supercharger. Come to think of it you can't even do that cause it's a 12v not a 30v v6. On the other hand if you had a 1.8T theres so much out there for that engine.

We will need a bit more info...like your transmision and awd/fwd?

are you going for looks or handling?...there are no real power adders for your car...

lower the car...i went with bilstein/neuspeed race...they were like 675 shipped from mjm
http://www.mjmautohaus.com/catalog/p...oducts_id=2581

after that, pick your favorite set of wheels...I picked up up some Rs4 reps on ebay 18x8.5"...they were like 400$

I got tires locally...the set ran me $285 (mounted and balanced)...they are nankang...very decent tires for the $

tint your windows...i think I paid $250 total

new headlights...I bought some great looking depos on eBay for $150

you could smoke your tail lights for about $75...or try to find some facelift tails of the newer models...

you can get an Rs4 grill...mine ran me $80 on eBay

you might want to look into getting a cupra lip ~$80

you also may want to look into getting an M3 lip spoiler ~$70 (eBay)

what i listed above will run you about $2k and is well worth it IMO...

here's a before and after of my car:

Before (with just tint)
Name: DSC00654.jpg
Views: 103
Size: 88.5 KB

after (with wheels and suspension)
Name: photoshoot1.jpg
Views: 66
Size: 86.5 KB
Name: photoshoot2.jpg
Views: 50
Size: 65.3 KB

mine is the black one...

I would recommend doing suspension first...if you do wheels first, you will be sorry...wheel gap will make you cry...

post some pics of your car to see what we are working with!

welcome!

Well so far my favorite mod has been my 2 piece HRE 540's, but thats beyond the $2k mark. Next is the AVIC F90-BT navigation. picked it up for 66% of the MSRP + install and BS. You can also pick up HID lights and some projector lights, suspension and wheels. Wait, first make sure that all your maintenace is done or else it'll be more expensive.

?????

Ten bucks for a can of Nite Shades spray tint, some alcohol swabs to clean them, and a little tape to mask off the body-color piece attached to the taillights. Take your time, several light coats, and you're done. Nowhere near $75 needed.

I was saying $75 if you don't have the ***** to try it yourself....I know for a fact that I would not try to smoke my own tails ever...but I have contemplated buying them pre-smoked from mjm....

and yeas, you could do them yourself for $10...

$150 shipped from tmtuning. Never looked at LLTek for anything besides floor mats. I might be getting rid of mine if i can find an Oettinger or Caractere CF Roof spoiler
