hi all i was wondering if anyone tried to convert their older generation a4s centerconsole and deck trim for the newer face lift verisions. What im talking about is the center arm rest all the way up to the deck including ac controls. I think it would be a worth wild upgrade, and would like to do it.

 

never seen it done but if u do it post some pics

 

none of the electronics would be compatible, im sure not many of the mounting holes/tabs/screws would line up. it would be far from a bolt on swap. as with anything if you have enough money to throw at it im sure it could be done, but not really worth it.

 

A bunch of ppl have swapped out to fit a double Din. Go on the Zine or fourtitude, youll find a couple.
