Default Has anyone had a bad window switch-electrical not mechanical?

I was doing my good samaritan thing and giving a guy a ride home from work last night. I told him what I now tell any passenger in my car, DON'T ROLL THE PASSENGER WINDOW DOWN! (because it doesn't like to go back up) Well, you guessed it, he did. After about 20 minutes of constantly hitting the switch, it went back up. It seems to be taking longer and longer to get it back up.

I'm pretty sure its electrical and not mechanical, I know a lot of people have regulator trouble, or talk about a cable getting bound up, but this seems to be electrical. When I had my bad bearing replaced recently, my Audi guy who said he's fixed regulator problems before also agreed, he accidently put it down and when he finally got it up, he said it glides just fine, he thinks its electrical, too.

I'm going to try pulling my door panel, but I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem and what I should check/fix or replace? Could it be just dirty contacts or is there some part that goes out? It would just seem odd that if something broke, it would still work fine on 1 out of 100 tries.

One last question, when you pull up on your driver's door switch for the front passenger window, does the light on the passenger door window switch go off while you are pulling up on the driver's switch?

9/10's of the time the problem you are describing is a bad motor.
