Dont hold the rpms, just bounce them a few times and go WOT as the rpms are falling. Then just release the clutch all at one time when you reach 4500 rpms.

Anybody know why you have to wear pants? I'm curious.

Because racing isn't done in shorts or cut off tshirts. lol

Just be glad you dont have to wear a fire proof racing jacket when it is 100+ degs outside.

The pants rule is for fire safety, but anyone whose a firefighter or a burn victim will tell you that clothes melting to your skin is a hell of a lot worse than skin directly exposed to fire.

VMR here requires everyone to wear a helment. Even if your slow as crap.

I figured it was fire safety, but like you said I thought the clothes burning on your skin would be worse...

I've always wanted to buy a helmet and cruise around town with it on.

Not really for Fire Safety, because if that was true they would force everyone to wear a fire suit. It is for safety but I would think more towards flying glass in case you crashed. But to me racing a car and shorts just dont belong together. Its like racing a bike with flip flops on. lol
