Why doesn't my boost hold? I will spike to 18 or so and then it drops a lot. It just falls off and I get mixed reactions from people when I say that. They say my year does that more then say the 00 and 01? What do you think?

the turbo is just tiny... thats all there is to it. My last cars stock turbo was almost 2x the size and the engine was only a 1.3l. Also your turbo was only made to hold what 7psi? Your pusing it all the way to 18 now of course its not gonna hold it well.

Oh and as far as my guess if you leave the percent thing at 0 and do wheel hp. I would guess 145-165 if you get the weight correct

155-160whp or right around 200chp if we are talking pump gas.

You must have a few bodies in the back of the trunk. My A4 tips the scale at just over 2800 lbs now and thats with half a tank of gas, stock it was just under 3200 lbs.

BTW

Curb weight (US) or Kerb weight (UK) is the total weight of a vehicle with standard equipment, all necessary operating consumables (e.g. motor oil and coolant), a full tank of fuel, while not loaded with either passengers or cargo
and

A gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) is the maximum allowable total weight of a road vehicle or trailer when loaded - i.e including the weight of the vehicle itself plus fuel, passengers, cargo, and trailer tongue weight.

The difference between gross weight and curb weight is the total passenger and cargo weight capacity of the vehicle. For example, a pickup truck with a curb weight of 4500 pounds might have a cargo capacity of 2000 pounds, meaning it can have a gross weight of 6500 pounds when fully loaded.

Just took a closer look at that screen shot, is that implying a 0-60 time of 1.1 seconds? lol. And for the record, my guess is 161 whp

ok so i did it last nite sorry it to so long to reply. the car weighed 3296 with both of us in it. i set the thing to 0 to get the 'whp' and it came up with 232hp. that seems a little high to me although i would like it to be true, so we tried to get it close to the chp and it read 248hp. which again...would be nice, but i dont know if its true.

long story short i gotta find a real dyno.

Just curious guestimate of what both passengers weighed? I'd like to adjust my numbers. Also I had it at 3300 and it gave me 130 hp but a 16.1 quarter mile. Honestly after quattro drive train loss the 130 doesnt seem too far off.
