Got my chip and I love it

NGK BKR6E or BKR7E, the latter supposedly being a little better for chipped cars

The NGK's are a good priced plug from what you get out of it. NAPA has them and all 4 cost me less than $10. Makes a noticeable difference. Try to replace them every oil change if you can.

Ya i just went and got some. It still stutters every now and then but not near as much as it used to. i went with the .28 gap just in case.
Now as for the chipping, how much does that usually run someone and what all is needed to do so?

The platinum or irridium plugs are fine for stock boost, but if you still have trouble with stutters you should switch to copper. It dissapates heat much faster, but is fouled around every 5000 miles. I'm running them now, and I change them with oil. They are cheaper though.

Tyler, look at the mods and maint sticky at the top of the threads page. In there there is a write up on all kinds of chipping options. It just so happens that this thread was originally about the GIAC chip, which is generally considered the best for bang for the buck for our B5s...
