Your right they do wear down fast but they wear evenly through out the tire and I have a feeling all these people you know with 050 dont have all wheel drive... my buddy has a 04 gto with 050's and he got probly only 15k out of them and on my car an 01 s4 after one season they still look almost new.

Two mazdaspeed 6s and an evo.... all of them are all wheel drive. your right the performance on those is extremely good they handle great which is why they are oe on alot of high end cars. the op however is looking for something thats not that expensive and im sure he wants them to last more than 15k
