Good price on lowering springs for 2.8 quattro
So I want to lower my car but I had thought the 1.8 springs would be the same as the 2.8 but was evidently wrong. So where can I get a good price (under 200 prefered) on some springs that lower it around 1.5"s and are close to oem feel. I wanted to get some Vogtland ones that onepoint8tee had linked somewhere but they were for the 1.8.

There is no cheap, lasting way to lower your car. If you install aftermarket sport or race springs with the stock struts, the struts will fail.
Edit: I see that you have the sport suspension, but that doesn't matter, they'll still fail.

I still never understood how that 'wholesale' thing worked. do you have to own a store? lol
but anyway, more on the subject at hand, how long will the set up with stock shocks and new springs last? and what will happen when they begin to fail?
Because i may be getting enough money for new wheels for the holiday but not for the coilover set up. so i want to do something like just springs till i have the money
