Giving Up: Clear side markers with orange bulbs?
Spent the last hour looking honestly every where for a pair of two clear side markers to replace my stock orange ones.. finding all sorts of lens replacements, but none that are going to blink orange!
You guys are the best! Thanks!!!
(Also, I'm replacing my headlights with new DEPO two piece projectors.. anything I should know that you think I wouldn't? I feel pretty comfortable since its direct bolt on... will I run into problems?)

just make sure your turn signal housing is secure. some people have had them pop off when they hit a large bump on the highway. why didn't you go with a single piece? IMO looks better and it will stay on securely lol

Search eBay for "A4 clear side" and you should find them. I paid less than $20 shipped about 4-5 years ago. This is what they look like:
I used silver heat paint on the tips of the bulbs so the amber wouldn't be visible behind the lens, but they still blink amber.

^This.
I bought clear side markers from eBay for $15 a couple weeks ago and replaced them last Sunday. After taking the amber ones off I realized that the bulbs were clear/white too. Autozone has bulbs for ~$5. I'll also be painting the tips silver.
I would also go for the one piece Depo housings. Making them fit is really not that bad.
Follow this: 2-Piece to 1-Piece Headlight Conversion - AudiFreaks
I didn't even take off bumper. Lots of tape and cloth towels. Then you'll need to get the proper wire connecting terminals. Two piece housings have a different connection than the one piece housings. ECS Tuning sells them for $70, but you can get them from a part out or junk yard for $20 shipped at the most.
If you decide on the two piece, they should fit fine too, but I would definitely look at pictures of the two piece projectors on cars before you buy

Thank you guys! I've found the amber bulbs at Autozone like you said, so I just bought the clear side markers off Ebay - I'll put the two together!
1996 1997 1998 AUDI B5 A4 CLEAR SIDE MARKER LIGHTS | eBay
My B5 facelift will be ready on Thursday!
As for the two piece decision: I want to keep the 1998 look, but just update it! I don't mind the two piece lights.. All I really wanted was the clear corner lights, but why not get just the whole package!
