I know this a little late to jump in, but if thats the case, I would look for wheels specifically for an S4. Not all wheels that will fit on an A4 will fit on an S4. I found this out because in looking for wheels for our W8 Passat (includes S4 breaks), they weren't all interchangeable. Even some 18" wheels that I thought for sure would fit, didn't.

the bolt pattern and offset should be the same since you can technically take s4 wheels and put them on an a4 with no problems

edit: on a side note.... aledelic42 since you know more than i do.. should i get ET42 or ET35 ? they are both 18x8 - 5x112

The offset doesn't have anything to do with if the wheels will bolt on or not. You just need a right offset so you won't rub. A lower offset means the wheels will be farther out, reducing the chance of rubbing and also giving a wider stance look that most people like. People buy spacers to achieve a better offset. Tommygunns is saying that the wheels you get for your A4 may not fit over the S4 brakes, which is true. Take that into consideration when buying whatever set you end up getting.

ahh.. ok.. now im still iffy on the s4 thing.. my parents are saying i cant afford it, so i might try to look for an 01.5 A4 1.8TQM and BT the hell out of it..

and with the the off set thing. then et35 would look better?
