my roommates step dad owns a paint shop and he makes 6 figures a year paints cars and industrial crap so he knows what hes doing.. he told me 799 (basically family discount) for whatever i wanted including camo if i choose

 

...........that would barely cover the cost of paint. I wouldn't expect to get top of the line paint for that kinda money. None the less if he could paint the entire car for less than $1,000 thats a steal in any paint type.

 

well normally starting price he charges 1299 and thats just for a one stage... like i said its my roommates stepdad they are very close and im also helping with all the prep work (bondo, taping, sanding etc.)

Painting an A4 Nogaro is just as lame as putting an S4 badge on it, imo.

Why is that so unbelievable? So the guy loses a few hundred doing a favor for his sons friend. I don't think he's too worried about it if he's making 6 figures. Sounds awesome Phil. Can I be part of the family?

 

haha..... the other reason hes doing it is cuz this is usually his slow time right after xmas so he wants something to do lol
