get a new car or keep the current?

I bought my A4 before I had my son. He's 2 now. Space gets really small as he grows. The same will probably be for you. As he gets older and the more my wife complains about her lack of leg room, I kinda wish I got a bigger car like an A6 (reliability issues?) etc.
I say if you have the money to live comfortably, get a bigger car man. What was wrong with the Q?

well the first q i had the guy told me he got the timing chain cover replaced (pre 94 were plasic and would break) and he never did so 3 weeks after i bought the car it was toast
2nd car was fine... just some financial issues happened and i lost her
well why not a b6 avant? or are they alot more expensive... im not realy to keep on the a6, ive read alot of reviews on different sites saying they break down way too easily and just cost too much damn money... and plus im really looking to keep it 5 speed

If you still don't want to get a bigger car, I'd go with a b6. Just because it's newer.

The B6 is only a little bigger than the B5. The C5 A6/S6 have a lot more room in the backseat than the A4's for you to ride comfortably in the back.
The C5 A6's have couple options for the engine: 2.8 (same as yours except 30V), 2.7T, 4.2. For later on models, the 2.8 was replaced with 3.0.

i didnt know they had a 2.8... do u know anyone personally that has a c5? although i know its jsut a website.. if u go on edmunds for the a6 c5.. almost every person on there says amazing car great comfort but everything breaks on them... i can be affording a car thats gonna fall apart every other week, know what i mean... so i would like real life experience from people that know about these cars, not jsut consumers that **** and moan about normal expenses
