Gauge cluster is broken need to know interchangability between models and years. For example: Would one from an Auto work? 2.8? etc....
Mine has the large LCD screen in the middle, about 2" x 4". (only ones I have found have the warning lights in the center)
Tried to tighten up the tabs on the LCD screen (bad pixels) and heard a crack, now no gauges work except for the oil temp.
Car is a 98 A4 Quattro 1.8t 5spd manual Last six #'s of VIN: 140043

Have you looked at the board? you may have cracked it, but could just fix it by soder if its not terrible

 

it cracked underneath the LCD screen, can barely see it let alone solder it.

Anyone else??
