Question Gas price$$$$$$$???????

Out here in California(San Diego). Gas prices is going over 4 dollars a gallon and Im driving the 1.8T so im buying premium.
Its costing me about 50-60$ for a full tank. but it would last me a good 2-2 1/2 weeks if I don't drive much.(unemployed college student)

Is the gas prices affecting other members of this forum?

&QUICK QUESTION:
Does the V6 use premium gas or can it take regular?

i am selling my a4 because of the gas prices. soon i am transferring to a different college and will need to commute around 30+ miles one way. paying over $4 is not cool. sad to see her go but i have to do it. i got this lady coming in around 1h and she is buying the car for 3.9k. thinking of buying a ford focus zx3 or zx5 LOL i hope that they dont handle too bad compared to the audi.

My room mate saw a sign for $4.75 in the district yesterday. Still around $3.90 in VA though.

premium 96 is currently $NZ 2.239 per litre, ie $NZ 40 gets 17.86litres

according to http://www.hintsandthings.co.uk/garage/fuelconv.htm theres a difference between the US gallon and UK gallon so no point going there, will keep to litres for consistent figures.

"To add to the confusion UK and US gallons are different; there are approximately 4.55 litres in a UK gallon but only 3.79 in a US gallon."

wonder how ppl with ecu mods for higher horsepower are fairing with fuel consumption compared to standard ecu.
