Default Fuse problem 98 Audi A4

I have had my Audi A4 just over a month and there are a couple of fuses that are blowing out every so often. The first was the brake lights which blew three times in the last month. Than the fuse for the climate control blower blew last week and than again today. Is there any way to fix this or am I going to have to just deal with this annoyance as it happens. With me driving the car the process itself is simple to switch out the fuse but with my wife driving she's going to freak out every time one of these fuses blow and I'll have to come rescue her. Either she'll be stuck in park when the brake light fuse blows, or she'll have no heat when the blower fuse goes. Is there a way to clean the fuses or something?

Thanks-Sulaiman

If fuses keep blowing, something is really wrong. A short in the wiring, or a spike in voltage somewhere.

Maybe ImTheDevil will show up and give his wisdom on this issue. He's on a roll lately.

Just a thought but I would get the fuse box diagram and make sure that all of the fuses are the correct amperage. Otherwise with all of those random blown fuses you could have a pinched wire harness somewhere.

Yeah I checked the chart to make sure the right number fuse is in each place. If it continues to happen I'll have took get it looked at. For now it's not really worth paying the diagnostics until I know for sure it's an ongoing problem.

Thanks for your help guys!

did you have a leak? is it just in the interior that things are blowing. I've had 5 fuses go in one week and replaced them and have been fine. if its the interior id check for a wet are or something else causing a short.
