Default Front Grille Badge Question.

Hey guys,
as the picture demonstrates..
The front audi rings have been painted black, which I don't really enjoy since when you look at my car from far away.. it's really ugly :P

Anyway, I went to my local reno depot and they gave me "paint thinner"..
though the person who recommended it didn't seem Extremely knowledgable..
I was wondering if it would indeed remove the paint from the chromed audi rings without affecting the chrome...

Thanks!!

I painted mine black and agree with you, I didn't like the look... But the more I looked at it the more I realized I didn't like it becasue it blended in to much. So what I did was paint the outside of the rings, that are actually attached to the grille, chrome. It stands out and looks really cool. It was pretty easy to do, I'll post a pic tomorrow.

if you look at the grille, the detachable rings are black, but once you remove them you will notice there is a raised outline of them that is part of the grille, that's what I painted chrome
