Front Fog Light Switch Illuminated After Aftermarket Headlights Installed.
So I have plug and play aftermarket headlights installed with DRL. The DRL's run off the parking light circuit. There is also a normal headlight bulb, a high beam headlight bulb and a blinker.
Whenever I have the parking / headlights activated, the green light on the front fog light switch becomes illuminated even if the front fog light switch is not depressed. It's not actually a problem, but I was just wondering how does that work? considering that I don't have any fog lights in the new headlights.
My car previously had the internal fog lights in the two piece headlights (pre-facelift I believe).

The plug and play is then incorrect and it does take some modification to bypass the foglight wiring. I bought some for my 98 B5 (you can see the pics of the headlights) and back then they did NOT come plug and play. When I first wired them I had the same exact issue, the fog light inside would illuminate. I searched and found the link below and with that tutorial modified my wiring so the light wouldn't come on anymore.
