Front bumper problems.

Front bumper problems.
Hey guys, I finally pulled off my bumper part way on a parking brick/curb thing. I'm pretty sure everyone does it eventually. I pulled up way too far in the parking spot and since I dont have a belly pan, my front air dam hooked, unbeknowst to myself. As I backed out I heard a loud popping noise. I knew exactly what it was and when I got out the air dam was folded up on the bumper and the driver's side was disconnected from the fender, hanging an inch or two down. Well I pulled forward and snapped the bumper back on. A buddy helped push up on the air dam to clear the parking brick and I didn't give it second thought. Now I've removed the bumper for fear that it may come off on a large bump. As much as I want an excuse to buy an RS4 bumper, I cant afford one. It takes very little force to unseat the driver's side, which leads me to believe I've damaged the hooks. Any input here on possible fixes? I've already noticed it came off after one drive. The bumper doesn't touch ground, it only sags an inch or two, but I took it off just in case, and also so I could inspect.
Here's some pics:
Bumper gap
Suspect hooks
How the car's rollin now.
On the bright side, I suppose this makes my stock inter-roomtemperature-er a front mount intercooler...?
Apparently these cars had ducting to the side mounts stock, just like the S4 to draw more air into the cooler, anyone else missing theirs?

happened to me a few times. you might try re-adjusting the clip assembly that mounts on the fender & sometimes it takes a few good hits of the fist at different angles to get the bumper to pop in place. Make sure the bumpers on there straight in the first place too, not too far to one side. As a last resort you can always do the zip-tie or bolt trick, and drill a small hole in the both the fender and bumper on the flat surface where they meet (best spot is towards the back, like by your hand in the first pic) and secure them together with a bolt and nut going through them or a zip-tie. Yeah I know it sounds pretty bad, but it works really well and its well hidden.

Your upper hooks look OK to me in that pic. What you gotta do is: while pushing in on the corner of the bumper, push down on the top to snap it under the hooks. If the bottom is off, you gotta push in and up to snap it on the one lower hook 'cause it faces up.
My top corner would not stay on like yours is now, and I found this timing belt replacement article that explained how those hooks look and work:

Click on "Engine" then go to the second TB article(right after the first).
Worked for me.
