Default Friday the 13th Maintenance day...

So, I decided to do the Sea Foam thing, then changed my spark plugs and changed my oil. My car is running better now that I can ever remember... Maybe it's just me. Seriously, if you've never done the Sea Foam treatment on your car, search for it, and do it! I did one can in the gas, half a can in the oil, half in the intake. I had some smokey results, but not too bad.

During a quick drive to go get a spark plug gap tool, (I couldn't find mine), I already noticed the car running stronger. Then replaced the plugs. I gapped to .028 because the maintenance records claim an APR chip installed in 2001. Magically, the little bit of sputter I had fanished, and I put about 35 miles on the car driving around town and a little on the highway to make sure the Sea Foam had a chance to do it's thing in the oil before changing it.

Damn was that oil DIRTY when it came out! Anyway, nothing like a good day of maintenance to make a guy feel good about his car... Just thought I'd share...

The new plugs at the smaller gap prolly did the most good...

Today I had installed new brake pads, rotors and a fresh oil change. I feel pretty good about my car right now, too.

You're car will feel even better once you fill her up again with untainted gas. The seafoam robs some power while it cleans, but then it leaves you with great results.
