its foggy because i havent finnished wet sanding the clear yet and polish the whole thing up its been wayyyy to hot out.. and as far as the tails go there perfectly legal in my state and ive never been bothered about them. =]
ORIGINAL: Connecticut DMV Vehicle Code Information Chapter 246 Section 14-96c

Tail lamps. Illumination of rear registration plate. (a) After October 1, 1967, every motor vehicle, trailer, semitrailer and pole trailer, and any other vehicle which is being drawn at the end of a combination of vehicles, shall be equipped with at least two tail lamps mounted on the rear, which, when lighted as required in subsection (a) of section 14-96a, shall emit a red light plainly visible from a distance of one thousand feet to the rear, except that passenger cars manufactured or assembled prior to October 1, 1957, and motorcycles shall have at least one such tail lamp. On a combination of vehicles, only the tail lamps on the rearmost vehicle need actually be seen from the distance specified. On vehicles equipped with more than one tail lamp, the lamps shall be mounted on the same level and as widely spaced laterally as practicable.

You sure those are visible at 1000 feet? Being that dark I highly doubt it.

Had to hop in on the tail lights. Those tail lights are likely to be BARELY visible at 500 feet. Now consider it should be twice the distance and PLAINLY visible. If you really believe those are legal you should ask Santa for a motor vehicle law book.

I dunno whats the deal, i think he asked for opinions didnt he? If you dont like advice on things dont be on the forum. Id rather avoid a ticket if i could, maybe its because i dont like paying any more money then is required to the government? Check the tail lights or not, just worth worrying about if they are that dark, someone may not see them clearly and ram the back of your car.
Car looks good otherwise, i think you would get a new front bumper to set it off, maybe the s4 bumper etc.

Hmmm, maybe if I rear-ended him because of his illegal tails, then I could get a new S4 bumper for my car! CT isn't that far of a drive...[8D]

If you cant take the critique, dont post and ask for it.

BUT, it's your ride. I'm sure we all have idiosyncrasies with our vehicles that may not appeal to others. That's what makes them our rides.

To assume that we are all a bunch of d-bags is quite amusing. Especially when an officer of the law chimes in on your tail lights. Frankly, that to me, is disrespectful.

Hey, I never argued about not being a douchebag, but at least I'm a douchebag who's right![8D]
