anyone know how difficult it is to install a new fuel pressure regulator?

Very easy. Just make sure you put a rag over the FPR before you pull it out or you might get sprayed in the face with fuel if there is pressure in the rail. Putting in a new one is very simple, just pop it in and put the pin back in place.

If you start the car and then pull the fuel pump fuse and wait for it to stall out, you wont have any worries about getting sprayed. Just dont damage the o-ring putting the new one in or you will leak

well the car has been sitting for a good amount of time, so i don't think there should be any pressure... Thanks for the replies

i just put a new one on a week ago, like mike said, its very easy. should take u no longer then 10 minutes.

Its the retaining clip. You can pop it off with a flathead and then with some effort, pull the fpr out. Putting it back in sometimes can be a pita

i have been trying as hard as i can to put this thing in lol... it will not fully seat in
