really??? Good to know. I am still gonna get it I think. It looks good and I can just paint it myself. They want 400 with shipping for it regularly. So why not? Where can I get a vag-com?

 

You can buy it or download a free version. Its a bit less capable but if you're just checking for codes it'll do just fine.

 

The $400 plus shipping is for a real Rieger that is ABS, where this is a Rieger "like" rear bumper that is made from fiberglass. It should be ok and since it is in the back I don't think you will have much problems with cracking as long as you are careful.

I recently purchased a copy of a Kerscher front bumper and it required a lot of work to to finish it and paint it so be prepared as it will probably not be ready for paint.

I had the same airbag light come on when I switched my steering wheel and you will need a Vag-Com to reset is as unplugging the ECU or battery will not work on the particular cell. If it is a genuine problem then you will also need to Vag it to find out what it is. As an Audi owner that should be one of your first purchases as you can diagnose problems that will come up in the future.
