Default Fog Lights

My fog lights were unplugged when i took them out of the bumper, they look like the factory housing was bought seperately and then wholes were drilled into the side grilles for them to fit. When i plugged them in and tried to turn them on, nothing happened. The Fuse is good and im not sure what else to try or do?

no if one goes out, the other stays on. they arent xmas lights... Just pick up a couple bulbs and replace your old ones. Or you could test the bulb/wiring in question with a multimeter.

I suggest to try seeing if any of the two bulbs work. If at least one does then you can use that working one to swap to the other side and vice versa.

Invest in a basic multimeter before investing in new fog bulbs. It's more important and would be useful for a job like this.

You should follow the wires up and make sure they're both properly grounded and that the wiring is still good. Where do they connect? At the connector or was the wire cut before that? Get new bulbs anyway. I've been told several times that I should buy a multimeter for my various projects, but if I were you, I would investigate the wiring and then buy new bulbs since you know one is bad anyway. If they're OEM fog lights,
you'll need H7s. If not, then you'll have to do some research.
