Fog Lights

RE: Fog Lights
Those aren't really xenon lights. You need the kit. Those are halogen bulbs with colored glass. Some have a small amount of xenon gas in them, but that's not true HID. Go to www.vvme.com and you can see what you need to get there. Believe me (and the 95,000 others on here who have HID experience) - it blows away halogen, and their prices are very good. Customer service has sucked for some (ie, long shipping times), but the wait is worth the performance.

RE: Fog Lights
The link didn't work so I don't know what they were selling but based on your post, I'm assuming they're another halogen setup. The point is, if you just put in halogen bulbs, you're only going to get halogen output. Typical halogen lights emit about 750 lumens of light. HIDs vary depending on the color temperature, but a 4300k HID kit (which is very close to the color of natural sunlight) emits about 3200 lm of light, so the output is FAR better. Seriously, don't waste your money on the $10 bulbs - just order real HIDs and you'll be glad you did. the install is very easy (pure plug and play, no hacking or splicing), and you likely won't need more than 10-15 minutes to install them.

RE: Fog Lights
The best visibility will be a single-beam H7 kit in 4300k color temperature. If you want a little more blue to the look, order the kit with 6000k color temperature instead. The pic in my avatar to the left, under my screenname, is a 6000k kit in the OEM non-projector headlights. It has a bluish tinge to it when you look at it, but a very nice white light on the road.

They will and you'll love them. If you're putting them in foglights that you have yet to buy, get your fogs first, find out what bulbs they use, and order that style of bulb for the HID system. If you're getting them for your headlights (highly recommended), order them just as suggested.

RE: Fog Lights
HIDs make a world of difference, but the idea with headlights is to project down the road. Fogs are designed to spread the light very wide, but not as far. They'll still help you off on the sides. My OEM facelift fogs light up the areas way off to the sides of the car, but don't project down the road very much. That's what they're meant to do, and the combination makes a good light pattern that spreads far and wide.
