I did the facelift fog retrofit using that DIY as a guide (along with Depo projectors, to update my early 99 car to facelift-look). You have to get the grilles made for the facelift car, and they will fit. The fog supports are not in the grilles, they're in the bumper, which is why you have to make the brackets shown in the DIY. It's easy though. For wiring, tap into the green/yellow wire on the headlight harness bundle that plugs into the corner of the headlight housing - that's your foglight trigger wire. Tap into that, run it to one of the prongs on the fog housing, and ground the other. Done, and you'll maintain use of your OEM fog switch to control the facelift fogs.

thats awesome man. I just got good news today well good new for me not for my friend lol. I was talking to him about getting some projectors just to mess around and see what mod i can do by my self and tonight he called me and told me that he got into accident with the deer and his projector headlights on his 325i are busted along with his fog projectors so now i have 4 projector lenses 2 reg size and 2 small once along with 4 halo rims that light up blue which im thinking about modding my self and making a sweet audi logo out of them for the grille that will light up hyper white at night. Now that should be something that noone ever done before lol. I will deff keep you posted with the project.
