Thanks everyone!
Aledelic42: that ones pretty hot, I don't really care for the wheels though.... I would like to have a fmic, kind of pointless right now. And I really want to do the suspension, but I got this car to "save" money. We'll see how long I can do that

I don't think I would be satisfied with just springs.... but then again, only $200 hmmm.
I do want to paint the lowers too, need to clear out the garage before I can do that. And I think I want to do the air box mod (doing the cone filter thing)... and a short shift, and a boost gauge.... etc, etc.. you know!

Hmm... Bentley wheels... Do want. ^Need to poke more and stretch more tho! Man, I've been hanging out with Dub guys too much.
OP - You know parts for these cars aren't as cheap as you think right? I don't know if this is a good car if you wanna save money.
Just my two cents.

Thanks for the input.... To start off, I used to work for a VW dealer in the parts dept.... I know what parts cost. I still have contacts in parts and vw/audi service, etc. And, the difference between selling my Lexus and buying this was almost $5000...... So I have what I think is a pretty good head start on saving money I know that these cars have their issues and are expensive to fix and sometimes expensive just to maintain, but the maintenance on this one has been very good (I have all of the records) and I am pretty comfortable working on it (for maintenance) and I have people to call if things go wrong for some reason. This is just a DD for me, not a toy that I am going to try and make fast or put expensive wheels, stereo and whatever other crap people waste their money on... just a car that gets me to work and back that I will put a small amount of money in it to make it my own, and it will be well maintained. Hope that makes sense, and doesn't make me sound like too much of an idiot.
