Finished Replacing all control arms now car has gotten worse
1998 audi a4 fwd just replaced all control arms. everything is tight and in the right place. only thing is that when i move the steering wheel left/right the car has body roll. if i wiggle the wheel left & right the car will wobble left and right almost as if two people are pushing up and down on both left and right sides. also, tires are scraping quite hard on the upper perch under that pinch bolt. so my car is practically un-drivable. could it just need an alignment? shocks blown?
some things we ran into prior to getting to this point
-power steering fluid was completely empty when job was finished and had to be topped up (was not empty before doing the job)
-cv boots are fine (no leak)
-car had a dead battery for about a day or so, ecu has reset.
-checked the strut bar everything seems very tight.
-when i started the car after filling the power steering reservoir with fluid, i did notice that the car slightly lowered/adjusted and the main issue (body roll with steering wheel rotation was evident.
any thoughts would be appreciated thanks

Definitely the first thing to check. This is the one big thing I learned this past week while reading DIY's on the control arm job.
