Finding and replacing Bank 1 Oxygen Sensor 1?
Hi,
My CEL went off recently and the scanner said the bank 1 O2 sensor 1 is no good (code P0130). Are there any DIY's out there on replacing these stupid things? I long for the days when cars didn't have any of this emissions nonsense and they were easy to work on. Supposedly the O2 sensors are easy though...hopefully.

is it post cat or pre cat? all you gotta do is follow your exhaust up it should be on the down pipe right before the flex pipe and make sure u get a can of pb blast and let the o2 soak over night before you try and get it off.

From your sig pic, it looks like we're talking about a 2.8 here. Bank 1 is passenger's side, sensor 1 is pre-cat. If you jack the car up, find the passenger's side catalytic converter, and work your way forward towards the engine, you should see it. Here's a DIY guide to replacing the precat sensors:
