Default A few HID ?'s

As much as I love seeing the modded B5 A4's here, because I think the B5 benefits more from mods than other Audis, especially newer A4's, I told myself I wasn't going to mod my A4, for a few reasons, mainly just because I'll probably have it for another year or two and then sell it for something newer and I just don't want to waste the time and $$$$$$$. I think I am going to have to do something about the headlights though, I don't know if its just my car or what, but I have what have to be the world's dimmest headlights. Without the fogs on, they are an absolute joke. Considering how cheap HID kits are now and seeing that DDM Tuning looks like a pretty reliable supplier that will hopefully stand behind its product and warranty if needed (as opposed to some dude in China on ebay), I think its time for my first mod, upgrading to HID's. I have a few ?'s though:

-For anyone who installed HID's, where did you find to mount the ballasts, it looks pretty crowded in there.

-Has anyone installed a 55w kit? Any problems with heat from the 55w kit?

-What color temp did you go with and is it true that the 55w kits wash out some of the color, making them less blue? I'm not big on the blue/purple look, leave that for the Civic modders.

yeah so you are ready for hid. i would say go with the 35w 4500k if you want it to look like stock HID or go with 5000k if you want a little more than stock
here is a chart

I believe the slim DDM kit actually fits within the headlight housings (the ballast that is) so you won't have to worry about finding a spot to put it in.

Although if you do want to put the ballast outside of the housings, there should be an indent/space right underneath the headlights.

I have questions on this too,

What about the difference in the 35w and the 55w?

6000K on 35w will look more blue while 6000K on 55w will look more true white?

55W will wash out a bit of the color. Like stated above, 8000K (55W) would probably look like 6000K with 35W.
