Has anyone attempted this swap? I want to replace my old non illuminated air vents with 99+ vents that illuminate. I was wondering where a good place is to tap power from and anything else i should know. thanks

 

I would imagine power from the headlights so they turn on when your headlights do.

 

i keep hearing about these magical illuminated vents, does anyone of pics? i bet it looks pretty cool

 

From when I 1st bought the car. This is my guess for the "lighted vents"

 

so much glowing red goodness. I like the little lights that shine down on the center console.

 

My eyes! I love the Audi red. I want my stock radio back . Lighted vents have always been a WANT for me, maybe I'll do that when I swap my dash.

You should tap into the interior lights power if you can. That way when you turn on your gauge lights and perhaps leave the headlights off it will illuminate. But I'm not sure how often you do that... I used to but not anymore.

Nope, it's just really clean and the light reflecting from the ceiling! My red lights are all on 24/7 when the car is on! I still have red neons from my 1st car if you all like red so much I could do underglow on my Ow Owdi!!!

 

Underglow. Do it.
