Default Exhausts

Ok so the gf got her tax return back and is looking to get an exhaust currently on the car is whatever the previous own went cheap on it has a 2 1/8th cat back on it very restrictive.

I've been reading threads about sizes and stuff and it's just a battle between opinions. My locally shop suggested 3in bes cause of her mods she is doing this year.

This year includeds k04 swap, FMIC, 3in cat delete, larger injectors, DV valve, APR chip.

So the. The questions come down to what size and so on. It's 00 with a 1.8T ATW.

So options were custom 3 in cat back with high flow quiet resonator and Magnaflow 3in in dual tip out. No mandrel but not to many crinkles exhaust shops pretty damn good did my custom piping for old turbo project

Option 2 custom 2.5in cat back highflow resonator and Magnaflow 2.5in dual tip out. No mandrel again

Or I was looking at SSAC's cat back bolt on kit that runs $350

Anyone have any opinions or input would be great

If you going for a crush bend I would get a 3", mandrel 2.5" should be fine. Brand name vs custom is completely your choice, I have heard several magnaflows that sound pretty good on our cars and a ssac that sounded great. Up to you
