Have you looked into vibrant mufflers? I have an 1148 Vibrant muffler on my B5 and it sounds great!

Here is a crappy clip of mine. =P

brochacho, are you running a resonator on that setup? I'm getting that same muffler put on my car on tuesday with one of vibrant's stealth resonators. Sounds great but I hope mine isn't that loud lol

The vibrant muffler sounds sick. But your right, it is loud. Why did you guys decide to go with that one? Did you guys go custom 3'?

OP I like the 15 better. I'm not a fan of the 16' size. It looks huge in person. Lol

I have the 14815 installed with a resonator delete. Personally i love the way it sounds. its aggressive but its not obnoxious. but for a brief second between like 3300 and 3900 rpm its gets too raspy. but above and below it sounds sexy. pops and crackles like crazy on decel and rev-matching.

yea cuz i have the stock muffler on right now with the res deleted but i wanna put the resonator back and put the magnaflow on there but was debating on wheter i should get the 15 or 16... i like the way the tips look on the 16 but sound wise im not really sure what the difference is haha...

Shouldn't be too much of a difference. Go with the one that looks best to you.

Don't put the stock resonator back on. When I originally put my 14815 on I left the stock res on because I didn't want it to be super loud, but I could barely hear it. The only way I could really hear it is if I stuck my head out the window and revved the **** out of it. The res came out like 2 days later and I fell in love with the sound. That stock res is pretty much just another huge muffler. I'll be getting a mild resonator to tone down the highway drone a bit and alieviate The rasp around 3500

As a side note, I prefer the smaller tips of the 15. When i ordered mine I actually wanted the 16 and ordered the 15 on accident. But the 15 tips actually look pretty big. I'm glad I didn't get the 16 cuz I think the tips would have looked too big. With the 15 it still gives it a sleeper stock look to it. My .02
