Hi Guys! I went on a 4 hour trip and my exhaust started leaking around the manifold. Checked it out and found a broken manifold bolt / stud. I'm going to pull it off and change the gasket and redo bolts.

I'm concerned driving it with the leak caused damage to the aluminum head etc. I drove it with the leak about 100 miles. What do you think?

 

a exhaust leak at the manifold won't damage anything. it can hinder performance for having less flow for the turbo and it obviously sounds annoying, but an exhaust leak there shouldn't hurt anything.

if u have emissions test then that could maybe affect you from passing... but u will be safe as far as daily driving goes.
