Usually the full kit is referred to as 12 pieces. 8 control arms, two tie rods, and two sway bar end links. I would recommend the Meyle HD kit.
wow that meyle kit it big time expensive. i couldnt find too many places online that sell it, mostly ebay.
i know you get what you pay for, but i just cant justify spending twice as much when you can get complete control arm kits from multiple companies for less than 200.
the car already has 150,000 miles so i dont need the new bushing to last another 100,000. maybe 50,000 at the most if the motor doesnt go kaboom before that.

Ah, Gotcha. I'd say bring it to a tire shop or something and see if they can give you an opinion after looking at the car.

My car has 275,000, or - a quarter million miles on it - and it runs like it's brand new. I just had the original stock/oem clutch replaced and the stock/OEM turbo can still hit 12psi w/o even a hint of smoke.

My guess is your toe setting is too aggressive. Camber will indeed wear the inside shoulder of the tire but not as bad as you might think (unless you have excessive camber where the majority of the weight is on the shoulder).

But if you have a s little camber and an improper toe setting you can chew through tires pretty quickly.

There also could be a good possibility that as others mentioned your outer tie rods, which they use to set toe could be shot.

Either way I would probably have it inspected by someone who is familiar with these vehicles.

This was the trusted kit on a budget when I had my B5. Many of the old school B5ers here used this kit when FCP Euro was an Ebay only company.
