Default Evolution Race Werks Intercooler

I am looking into getting a FMIC and this one is very nice. I would like to know if it is Carb. Legal for the needs of California?

No FMIC will pass visual inspection on our cars unless the SMOG tech isn't very good at his job. Also technically a FMIC is a modification to the intake tract so it's an illegal mod in California, but nobody will hassle you... I've been running a FMIC for about 4 years (except when I take my car in for SMOG testing).

If I recall, MetalMan just keeps all the stock parts for his car, then completely tears it apart and puts the stock parts back on to pass inspection and rebuilds it with the aftermarket goodies after he passes

I wouldn't say completely , but all the emissions/visual related stuff. Well, on my '98.5 I swapped out everything, but on my 2001 I got smarter and only swapped out the important things... cat, FMIC, emissions systems. Then I passed no problem.

Default That's what I thought

good stuff so I do have a question about my LED brake lights..... I have load resistor on the third brake but was trying to get the ones on my tail lights installed. Is there a good spot to put them and wire them in? I have not found the right wires to get rid of the bulb out light.

If I recall, CCA4 doesn't even own a b5, let alone an audi. Buy one or GTFO!

Naw, just kidding. Or am I?

Seriously though, buy another audi.
