Is Everyone Ready for Snow?

Is Everyone Ready for Snow?
Just got my General Altimax Arctics mounted on my newly purchased 2007 VW Rabbit steelies. The tires are cheap but I have read some great reviews. The rims are brand new from an owner would decided to switch rims when he took delivery of his new car. All in total rims, tires, and mounting cost me $427 which I don't think is too bad considering the fun I can now have in the snow with the Quattro! Now I just need some Audi rings for the center on the wheel covers.

I can't wait! It will be my first winter with the Audi. I have Bridgestone Potenza's on it which I think will do just fine in the snow. Last year I was driving a Grand Cherokee for the winter which was still a ton of fun but something tells me the Jeep will not compare to the Audi in fun factor lol.

only thing with the audi is don't shift in mid turn or you'll spin out. other than that, just floor it through any amount of snow muahahahaha. i drifted my dad's highlander in the snow and it sucked, soon as i let off the gas, shift fock. also be careful if you have fog lights on your bump as i broke my tabs last year when i slid into a snow bank

I was thinking about rocking the black steel and still might. The guy at the shop was saying that he liked the fact that I prepared for winter. He said that every year he has cars lined up to the highway trying to get snow tires on the first day it snows. I was going to get Nokians but the Generals were $50 less per tire and people are very happy with them. I can't wait to take my snowboarding trips up to Stowe this winter, in past years I had to always bum rides because my cars sucked in the snow (especially since I have never had snow tires). My mom has an allroad and it is insane in the snow but she has the Tip so I am interested to see the difference.
