You have engine code AEB. 99.5 is AEB. The only thing that seperates a 99.5 from a 97-99 is cosmetic stuff, such as your one piece headlights (which is sort of upsetting to hear that you are going to replace them with halos... [:@])

Also, an S4 motor is a bi-turbo 2.7l V6.

Time to start taking advantage of the search/stickies dude.

if you motor was replaced from the dealer there sould be a sticker with a bar code right past cylinder 4 right on top you cant miss it. this sticker is from the manufacture it should have your engine code on it

eh yea i guess, i never usually do, ive been through so many forums, i normally think the stickies are just crap about the rules. plus the stickies in this sub-forum are just show-off threads and how-too`s

@audiltr... what i was just outside for 10 min looking under my hood with a flashlight, i couldnt find crap about anything, just a bunch of stuff in german

alright. and since you reminded me, how much would my stock headlights be worth, i had like 5 people tell me that they wanted them

onepoint8tee is right! why do you need to buy a ecu on ebay whats wrong with yours

He probably wants a chipped ecu. I wouldn't pay more than $80ish shipped for some 1 pc. headlights if I didn't already have em. Thats just me though. They might be worth more/less to someone else.
