I haven't driven my 1999 Audi A4 in a month, when I went to start it, no power, I replaced the battery and she starts up, but my idle RPM's are less then 1000, the service engine light is on, and the car shuts off by itself. I don't have much money to spend for a huge repair. Can you hep?

 

Get a scanner and see if you have any codes stored. Did you check the obvious oil, coolant, p.s. fluid levels and stuff? You might also want to try to reset your TB by turning your ignition to the on (not start) position for 20 seconds or so until the TB resets itself, then start it back up.

 

Def get codes pulled. Does anyone in your area have a vag-com system?
