Exclamation Engine Problem of some Sort

Hello guys, I am puzzled as to what the problem I am getting is. I will explain the event as is. First time it happened was on August 10 I was at a red light and put the gear to manual shift, I had the AC on, Lights on (mids and low), the car just went dead stop, engine off then it would not start, I had no lights on the display no EPC no nothing, I tried to start it up and i just got the choking sound, after a while 45 min aprox I tried to start it again and it started perfectly and everything worked great til yesterday that i had the same problem, came to a stop, I had no AC on this time, ligts were on mids and lows, and I shifted from D to P, then it went dead on me, i tried waiting like last time but started it up at 30 min and it worked. I also tried sooner but that failed at 30 min it worked and it was weird because the Drive worked but I could not accelerate!! so I pulled into a not dangerous part of the road and waited some more I figured I would better call a TOW truck because I had no alerts on the display again, after waiting some more like 15 to 20 min I tried again and it worked the accelerator worked again, I tried the car again today and it is working great. I am getting paranoid though, because i don't know whats causing this I have no alerts on the display and I cant risk the car going dead on me on a dangerous road or with my family on the car.

Any suggestions? I just did a full service to the car, changed oil, filters, spark plugs.

BTW:
Audi A4 B5 - 2001
1.8 T

Thank you guys in advance

I figured I would better call a TOW truck because I had no alerts on the display again
Thats why we have sweet hazard signs in our trunk lid

transmission? quattro? FWD?

this just sounded like a MAF problem to me. they can be hard to pinpoint sometimes. it was not raining at the time that it died was it?

you know what they say when you assume...

there are tons of FWD (i assume thats what you meant) cars out there. probably atleast 25% of B5s are FWD. quattro is an upgrade.

First thank you guys then I will answer the posts in their order:

1. Checked the turbo there is no leak or apparent leak
2. Coolant was on Min but it's ok

------------------------------------------------------------------
Second

1. Hazard button.. you mean the one that attracts more cars to mine and it also makes people honk their horns?
2. The triangle warning, this device I used but still mixed with hazard made people for some reason attract themselves to the triangle lol so yeah it works to cause a distraction.

-------------------------------------------

Third

Tiptronic transmission, and its a quattro , second time it failed it was raining but I had just gotten out of the garage and drove it about 10 minutes, didn't pass a puddle or excessive rain. The fist time it did this it was not raining, it was a clear shiny day temperature about 23 C .

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Fourth

Nice Poll , it's a quattro but I see a lot of FW here.
