Default Engine Light p0411

I got a check engine light with the code p0411 and a pending code p0422.
I think if I fix the p0411 it will remove the pending code.
What does the p0411 mean and what is the ussual problem and fix?
Thank you~!

SAI pump system. Let me know if you need to know anything about it. I have become an expert ahahhaha.

You have one of the three following problems:
1. Faulty SAI pump - expensive, no fun
2. Faulty K(C)ombi Valve - sometimes fixable with some PB Blaster, and a little cheaper if you want a brand new one
3. Vacuum leak somewhere - easy peasy

This is purely emissions related, so no harm done other than to the gaping hole in the ozone layer. There is no best way to fix it, but to first trace every vacuum line in your car, especially the nylon braided ones. Those are the first to go, usually. If you still have them, I recommend replacing them with standard rubber lines.

If that isn't the problem, you should try to cycle the Kombi valve by attaching a vacuum line to it and sucking it *that's what she said*. If it cycles when the car is hot, then you know it isn't the valve. The reason I say "when the car is hot" is because I had one that wouldn't cycle when the motor got to operating temperature due to the grime inside of the valve that would cause enough friction to keep the diaphragm closed because the metals inside would expand as a result of the heat.

If the valve cycles, you will hear a deeper exhaust tone, since some of the exhaust is being routed through a hose in the engine bay.

Last thing that you should do is start you car cold and listen for a high pitched "jet-engine" sound under your passenger side headlight. If you can hear that, then it may be time for a new blower motor, since they are known to go bad due to water causing the brushes to go bad. It almost sounds as bad as a blown turbo.

Oh one last thing, there is a solenoid valve that also can go bad. It is under the #3 intake runner. It is the valve that actuates the vacuum for the Kombi valve. Check that too.
