Engine cover fasteners 2.8

Engine cover fasteners 2.8
On my 1996 A4 2.8, all engine cover fasteners don't hold anymore.
Does anyone have some laying around he could send, or where can they be ordered?
I am also missing the "Engine cover, lower, front; also known as Sound Dampening Pan", but shipping may be cost prohibitive and no luck at junkyards yet (cars I found have been missing the part). But who knows... (found it new at $140 plus S&H).

I don't know if those fasteners are available separately or if you'll have to buy a whole new cover? As for the belly pan, if you're going to spend $140 to get a new one, I suggest spending a touch more and going with a panzer plate. Especially if you plan on lowering your car at any point. check it out:

GermanyAutoParts.com want $50 for the fasteners (Hardware kit, lower engine cover. Includes 4 plastic pins with clips amd 6 metal pins with clips): $5 for piece!
Fasteners for engine cover: if they don't sell them, I will have to rely on forum and junk yard finds. Cover stays in place as is, but just something that I'd like to fix (but not willing to through mucho dineros at it).

Who knows how long the cover would be there anyway. Just a bit concerned with splashing of slush/snow/mud into the lower engine.

Unfortunately, my 'local' VW/Audi dealer is a 45 min drive one way.
So I have to rely on mail a lot for smaller stuff.
For example the MIL bulb ($1.00 typical price, ECS also) cost me $10 shipped (from ECS) unless the Sylvania 2721 is an exact replacement (and found at local parts store). Same with seals, gaskets, etc.

I wouldn't worry about that. The belly pan is far from water proof, its there mostly (as the name implies) for sound deadening and (arguably) to help with gas mileage. Its thin, floppy plastic and provides almost no protection from impact, and everything in the engine bay is fairly water resistant. That said, I wouldn't recommend taking a pressure washer to your engine bay, but you won't have to worry about rain or snow splashing up and shorting stuff out.
